BAHRAIN TRAINING INSTITUTE
Bahrain Training Institute (BTI), a well-reputed vocational training centre that was established by the Ministry of Labour in August 1992. The primary goal of BTI is to contribute to the skills development of the national workforce in accordance to the current and future needs of the labour market.
It was established with an objective of providing high quality training that meets the needs of all types of industries in the region.
This year, some of the job seekers programs provided at BTI underwent development process; these are the recognized programs from BTEC or Edexcel. These two organizations introduce new batch of programs and launch a new vision for other existing programs, upon which more support will be provided to such programs by dedicating further resources and training materials.
BTI is also introducing the Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, the Diploma in Travel and Tourism, supported by “Tamkeen” previously known as the Labour Fund (LF). A Bachelor of Engineering (B ENG) in Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical Engineering and Instrumentation and Control Engineering. The new Bachelor program is accredited from Teeside University in the U.K. are also offered at BTI.
